This study is part of a joint-research project of Kühne Logistics University (KLU) and the Copenhagen Business School (CBS)
Given the fact that the complexity of global supply chains has increased constantly it is not surprising that the demands on supply chain managers have changed. Today, they need to possess different competencies than in the decades before, since SCM has evolved from a support to a strategic core function. In this context, practitioners and researchers concur that HRM issues are a critical element in today's supply chains. The human factor plays a major role: a supply chain can also be regarded as human chain, as it is driven by human interaction. We want to gain new insights about this intersection of management fields. Those insights are of special importance to the SCM community as previous research about those interrelations has been insufficient.
We invite anybody to participate who considers him-/herself knowledgeable about his/her company's SCM activities. Completion of this questionnaire will take less than 15 minutes. To show our gratitude for your participation, we will fund 5 vaccinations against measles for children in developing countries for every completed questionnaire.
To request participation, simply send an eMail including your company's mail signature to christoph.floethmann(at)the-klu.org.
Subsequently, we will send you the link to the survey ASAP.

Thank you in advance for your contribution! Tuisen Tak
