Prof. Dr. Britta Gammelgaard
Prof. Dr. Gammelgaard´s main research interest is Supply Chain Management and Logistics. More specifically topics such supply chain innovation processes, knowledge creation in the SCM discipline as well as city logistics are prioritised research areas. Her work has been published in Danish as well as international journals, such as Journal of Business Logistics (JBL), International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management (IJPD&LM) and Transportation Journal.
In 2009, Gammelgaard received the 2009 Bernard J. La Londe Best Paper Award for best paper in JBL 2008 for the co-authored paper “Exploring Processes for Customer Value Insights, Supply Chain Learning and Innovation: An International Study” and in 2012 a highly commended award for the co-authored paper “Logistics Innovation Process Revisited; Insights from a Hospital Case Study”, in IJPD&LM.
In 2009 she has received the Danish award for research in transport, Hedorfs Fonds Transportforskningspris and has further received a number of awards for service as reviewer and associate editor.
